Train Departure Procedures in Indonesia

The procedure is made to be obeyed and enforced. As represented railway  if  they are to run smoothly to their destination safely, it should follow the procedure. Because the procedure is made to avoid a dispute between one unit with another unit, whether the scope of most small or a wider scope and greater.

Train Departure Procedures are contained in a rule contained in Reglemen-19 commonly called R-19. R-19 there are volumes IV. So how's Train Departure Procedure?
Actually a lot of units that play a role in this Departure Procedures that trains can run smoothly to their destination safely. Units include Operations Unit, Facilities Unit, Telecommunications Unit, Unit Road building and Finance Unit Treasurer. Each unit can not stand on their own or feel more in between the other because only one of these units do not run the Departure Procedures Railways can not run properly or will be disturbed.

I am in the unit in respect of Operations then I try to explain in the unit Operation Operating Procedures. About other units that can be explained only skin deep.

Train Departure Procedures in Indonesia following steps:
 
1. at the station between and the station beginning :
  • Engineer/assistant engineer, leader conductor and air condition officer/brake officer has been prepared.
  • Locomotive has articulated a series.
  • Braking experiment was witnessed by Train Dispatcher and leader conductor .
  • Examination of the circuit has been completed by the officers means.
  • The braking placement is according to the comparison of braking.
  • At the station between if there are case of add / remove carriage, it should be carried out experiments braking.
  • Series have been ready and slogans have been installed.
  • A note to report railroad and machinist daily reports has been completed.
  • A watch of the leader conductor and the engineer has completed to be matched by Train Dispatcher with the station clock (matched at the beginning of the station and a change of train crew).  
2. before giving the command set (the motto of 40).
  • Sure that the train had entered the station face. 
  • Sure that no trains are running or go to the station.
  • Sure the train is entering from the opposite direction carrying the slogan 21, unhampered-pal, do not look or sound motto 31 or 39. 
  • It has got the answer to "safe" or are "open block". 
  • yard relating with a major railroad stop.
  • Railroad and wesel have been correct position.
  • crossing the doors have been kept.
  • lights of ready-made slogan. 
  • signal out /signal blocks have been pulled safely. 
  • Train dispatcher announces to the train crew and passengers through loudspeakers that the train set off.
  • Then train dispatcher out of his office and give orders to the leader conductor and machinist with a whistle, so they prepare to hear the slogans that will be sounded.
  • when employees in question have been ready in place, train dispatcher give motto 40 (Consent to the conductor to dispatch trains) and connected by a leader conductor with a motto 41 (Permission leader conductor to the engineer left) and the engineer give motto 35 (stating the train leaves). 
Actually there is a long discussion but due to time constraints, God willing, continue on another occasion.
